Sources and standards register
Which primary sources and current versions underpin Denim Field Notes?

The source register keeps publisher, scope, jurisdiction and review date visible.
Publication route: name the layer, record the observation, then select the source or method that answers the decision.
What the term changes
Primary regulators, standards owners, programme owners and technical institutes lead the register. CottonWorks supports the broad denim construction and finishing relationships. AATCC and ASTM directories are used for public method names and purpose, not controlled procedure text. EUR-Lex and the US Federal Trade Commission anchor the jurisdiction split for fibre-content labelling.
What to record
Programme owners such as ZDHC, Textile Exchange, Better Cotton, GOTS and OEKO-TEX are represented by current public scope pages. A historical trade brochure and a contemporaneous news report only corroborate the former textile theme; they are not treated as a current supplier listing.
Every source-related page shows the last checked date. Readers should open the official source before relying on a rule, version or certification condition in a live decision.
